We are going on Bahamas's and castaway cay cruise this spring. Would like to know if Atlantis is worth the visit and do they have lockers with locks, or should I bring my own lock? I am also assuming they serve lunch there.

    Ahoy Teena!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your spring cruise to the Bahamas will be here before you know it! Captain Mickey will be thrilled to have you onboard as you sail toward paradise.

My family and I took the Atlantis Dolphin Cay Shallow Water Interaction and Discover Atlantis Port Adventure during one of our Disney Cruises and had an absolute blast! At the beginning of the excursion, we were shown where the available lockers were for us to store our belongings. We thought booking the excursion and visiting Atlantis was definitely worth it!

It's so fun to book a Port Adventure through the Disney Cruise Line because they take care of all the details. If you're interested in exploring Atlantis on your own, they do have lockers with locks for you to rent as "Day Visitors". You will need to visit the Day Visitor Center located behind the Mayan Temple to reserve one. There are different sizes of lockers and all require a credit card to reserve them. Also, Atlantis does have many restaurant options open for "Day Visitors" looking for a bite to eat.

Oh! One more thing! On the morning your Disney Cruise arrives in Nassau, take your camera to the outside eating area of Cabanas for a gorgeous picture of Atlantis from the ship!

I'm wishing you a wonderful cruise this spring!
