what to do with backpacks while on rides?

    Hey There, Paula!

A warm welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thanks for stopping by with your great question about Walt Disney World Resort attractions.

Paula, you can keep your backpack with you on all Walt Disney World Resort attractions! On slow-moving attractions, you can wear your bag, keep your bag on your lap or place your bag in the seat next to you. If you prefer, you can also place your bag on the floor in front of you.

Most Walt Disney World Resort thrill rides have baskets or compartments in which you can place your belongings. On especially fast attractions, such as Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, I normally place my bags on the floor in front of me and then weave my feet through the straps. Soarin' Around the World has a dedicated center aisle and individual baskets in which to place your belongings.

If you prefer to not carry your backpack into Walt Disney World Resort attractions, you can rent a locker for storing your personal belongings. Each Walt Disney World theme and water park has convenient key-less lockers that can be used throughout the day for a one-time charge.

Paula, if you have any additional questions, you are welcome to return to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We are always here to help you plan the “practically perfect” Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

    All EARS,
