We will back in WDW in just 61 days! :) Staying at BWV w/ standard view. Can u please give some advice on a room request so we get a good room? Would like to be close to elevator/pool, but don't want a view of the parking lot. Is there a map of rooms?

    Hi Michelle,

Everyone's opinion about what makes a good room varies, so I'm going to point you to some tools so you can evaluate the situation and make the right decisions for your family.

For starters, head over to the independent website yourfirstvisit.net. Search there for the Boardwalk Villas review Scroll down until you get to the subhead that says, "Best and Worst Rooms at Disney's Boardwalk Villas." You'll find a resort map here as well as other pointers.

Then go to the independent website blog.touringplans.com and search for an article called "The Art of the Disney World Room Request." This will give you the scoop on how to make an effective room request.

The Boardwalk Villas is a wonderful resort choice. I'm sure having the perfect room will make it all the better for you!
