Back again. Trying to decide between visiting animal kingdom and Epcot, which will a 3 yr old enjoy more. We can't do all 4 parks because we want a chill at the resort day.

Hello Shirly and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I often joke that asking me to choose between parks is like asking me to choose my favorite child. However, for me, the choice between Disney's Animal Kingdom and Epcot for a three year old is pretty easy- Disney's Animal Kingdom for sure! With its dazzling shows, Kilimanjaro Safaris, beautiful trails filled with exotic animals, and Affection Section petting zoo, this Park is sure to enchant your little one- and you too!

I have one piece of advice, however. Please research the attraction It's Tough to Be a Bug! before you go. While many young children find it entertaining, just as many very young children find it terrifying. Every time I have attended a showing, numerous parents have had to quickly remove their crying children. On our first trip, one of those parents was me! My now 17 year old daughter still refuses to see it.

I hope you have a fantastic time at the Walt Disney World Resort.

    See ya real soon!

Meet the Panelist: Anne, Iowa

I’m Anne, a native Iowan, wife, mother, and grandmother. For me, a major part of the fun of a Disney trip is the planning. I have traveled to the Disney Parks in multiple stages of my life, including as a daughter, sister, aunt, mother and grandmother. While I can’t pick my funniest Disney memory – either my 70-year-old mother on The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror or my 4-year-old grandson on Dinosaur – I am thrilled to be able to help other Disney guests plan their adventures.
