What are some awesome tips to celebrate a teens birthday at Disneyland during disneyland's diamond celebration?

Hello Victoria, welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

How exciting to be celebrating your teen's birthday at the Disneyland Resort during the Diamond Celebration. I consulted with my teen daughter and here are some of her suggestions:

Book a Character Dining: She suggested starting the day with a fun Character Breakfast to celebrate your teen's birthday. If your teen is into photography like mine is (aka selfies), he or she will enjoy posing with their favorite Disney characters while indulging in an all-you-care-to-enjoy-breakfast.

Birthday Button: Don't forget to stop by City Hall on Main Street, USA at Disneyland or Guest Relations on Buena Vista Street in California Adventure to pick up a Birthday Button for your teen to wear. Throughout the day, Cast Members will be saluting your teen with birthday wishes.

Exciting Attractions: Some attractions your teen may enjoy are California Screamin', Hyperspace Mountain, Indiana Jones Adventure, Matterhorn Bobsleds, Grizzly River Run, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Radiator Springs Racers, and Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. My daughter also recommends trying the swinging gondola on Mickey's Fun Wheel at California Adventure!

Of course, the nighttime spectaculars during the Diamond Celebration are not to be missed! Paint the Night parade is very popular and the catchy tunes will have you and your teen dancing along. Immediately following the parade, be dazzled by the Disneyland Forever fireworks.

I hope this information helps in planning your family's upcoming celebratory trip to the Happiest Place on Earth. Please come back to visit me on the Panel if you have further questions!

I am a wife and mother to 2 children, a 14 year old daughter and 9 year old son. I have always enjoyed going to Disneyland Resort as a child and now that I am a mother, I love watching my children experience Disneyland Resort through their eyes. It is a true delight seeing my daughter wear a ball gown walking side by side with Cinderella or my son jumping gleefully after he defeated Darth Maul in a light saber duel! Learn More About Kiki
