i would like to avoid crowds is the first week of may a good time to go???? i'm not interested in rates, just crowds!!!!

    Hello Lorena!

A girl after my own heart - I'm a lover of low crowds, too. I have visited the Walt Disney World Resort the first week of May before, and I would say it is a moderate crowd level. The weather is nice, a lot of crowds will have just come for Easter and Spring Break, so it won't be terribly busy. You also get the bonus of the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.

September and January are typically the lowest crowd months. With a good touring plan, you should be able to experience all you want to! Don't forget to make FastPass+ selections and arriving before the theme parks open is always my number one tip. You will accomplish so much in the first few hours and can save your FastPass+ selections for later in the day when the crowds pick up.
