What is the average price of food for two people (one adult, one child) for two days in the disney parks?

Hi Charlene, thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. One of my favorite things about Walt Disney World is the food. I usually skimp and save just so I can splurge on food and snacks while in the parks.

How much money you should bring is entirely dependent on how much food you regularly eat in a day and where you will be dining. Sometimes we skip breakfast and we will eat at a Quick Service Restaurant for lunch and then eat at a Table Service meal for dinner. Table Service Restaurants are generally more expensive than Quick Service.

Before each vacation I will plan out every meal by looking at the online menus. I will then choose a meal that I would order and jot down the price. After I have done that for every restaurant, I add up the total, plus 18% for gratuity at Table Service Restaurants. This is how I set a budget for myself.

If you and your child plan on eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the parks plus snacks and drinks throughout the day, I would bring around $250.00 for both days just for food. I calculated that as if you both were eating breakfast and lunch at a Quick Service Restaurant and dinner at a non-buffet, non-character dining Table Service restaurant. I tend to over estimate so that there is room for spontaneity and so I don't have to worry about not having enough.

If another panelist had answered this question they might've suggested a completely different number, which is why it just depends on your eating habits and your location choices. I suggest pre-planning so that you can have a more accurate number based on your family's needs and interests.

If you have any more questions please don't hesitate to ask! Have a magical day, and happy planning!
