What is available for children 2 and under?

    Hi Robin!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

A 2 year old can actually enjoy most of the attractions at Walt Disney World.  I know that may sound strange if your only experience is with regional amusement parks, but it is true.  Most of the attractions at Walt Disney World were designed with the whole family in mind.  Very few attractions have a height requirement and if there is no height requirement, anybody can ride; that includes even babies!  That's true at all four theme parks!

That said, most young children really enjoy the Magic Kingdom and especially the Fantasyland area of the park.  Favorite attractions for young children in the park include:
    • Peter Pan
    • Dumbo
    • it's a small world
    • Mickey's PhilharMagic (though some children won't wear the 3D glasses needed)
    • Pirates of the Caribbean
    • Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin
    • Walt Disney World Railroad
    • Carousel
    • Tomorrowland Speedway

After the Magic Kingdom, I would suggest visiting either Disney's Hollywood Studios or Disney's Animal Kingdom.  I would save Epcot for last.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
