As an Australian planning a trip to DW (2 Ads 2 Ch) at the end of 2010, I'm not sure that I understand what an 'appetizer' or an 'entree' entails. In Australia, these are very small servings before the main meal. I am considering the Plus Dining option.

Hi, Cheryl!  An appetizer is basically a small portion of something eaten before the main part of your meal.  You will find, however, that there are many appetizers that are very nearly a meal in and of themselves!  T-Rex in Downtown Disney, for example, has an appetizer of a flatbread pizza that is easily enough to feed two for dinner!  For the most part, though, an appetizer is a smaller size introduction to your meal.

An entree is the main portion of your meal.  You will find in most restaurants, your entree comes with a side of something - vegetables, rice, or potato are the most common accompaniments.

I hope that helps clear it up some!

    Have a wonderful vacation!
