Hi we r from Australia & are considering a trip in Oct 2012 to Disneyworld. We have a 5 & 3 yr old. We will probably stay in Pop Century. How many days do we need to spend at Disneyworld to see a fair amount and are the waterparks worth doing as we

    Hi Alicia,

How exciting to be planning your first Disney vacation! I always recommend that guests visit for at least one full week. This will give you 2 days in the Magic Kingdom and 1 day at Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. It will also allow a water park day and a rest day that you may wish to use to visit Downtown Disney. You could very easily spend 2 full days in each of the parks. I have friends from Europe who always spend 2 weeks at Disney because it takes them some time to deal with the time change and jet lag.

I really enjoy the water parks. I recommend Typhoon Lagoon over Blizzard Beach given the ages of your children. You may want to spent half a day at a water park, then the afternoon and evening at Downtown Disney. That would combine a day for you.

Hope this helps and if you need further assistance planning your vacation, please don't hesitate to ask,
