We have an August stay at Disney Springs Hilton however are questioning changing to Pop Century. Although the room is half the size I’m wondering if transportation is faster? Is 4 weeks enough time to have Magical Express Bag Tags/Magic Bands sent? Thanks!

Hello there, Holly! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to stop back by and ask another excellent Walt Disney World Resort question!

Disney's Pop Century Resort is a value resort that packs a whole lot of magic into a small space! This Disney Resort hotel recently underwent a resort-wide reimagining that transformed the Guest rooms into sleek, modern takes on classic Mickey Designs. The new designs add touches of space, such as under-the-bed storage and closet space, that will be enticing for families in need of a bit more storage!

Due to its location, Disney's Pop Century Resort will likely be a shorter drive to the theme parks when compared to any of the hotels located near Disney Springs. Guests will have access to complimentary bus transportation and, as of September 29th, the brand-new Disney Skyliner! Guests will soon be able to board this one-of-a-kind gondola system that will connect multiple Disney Resort hotels with both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Fortunately, Walt Disney World Resort makes the arrival process as simple as possible! Four weeks will also be more than enough time to reserve your Disney's Magical Express ride and receive your luggage tags! In fact, Guests generally receive this information approximately two weeks before their arrival date. You may also pick up your MagicBands upon checking into your Disney Resort hotel!

I hope this information assists you in making your lodging decisions for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Have fun continuing to plan for your upcoming trip!
