    Melissa from VA Asked

We are attending Mickey's Christmas party but do not have tickets to visit a park that day. Can I still make fast pass selections for 4-7 before the party with just my special event ticket?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Melissa!

I'm so glad that you've stopped by with this question, because I had the exact same question when we were planning our Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party trip, and I've found out the best way to handle it.

You can absolutely make FastPass+ selections for the period from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m on the night you'll be attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, even if you're not using a regular park ticket earlier that day. While the party doesn't officially kick off until 7:00 p.m., guests with party tickets have been able to enter the parks earlier, around 4:00 p.m. in the past, so you shouldn't have a problem. The best way to make FastPass+ selections for this day is to make all of your actual park day FastPass+ selections first for the other dates of your trip. Once those are set online, you can then go to the day that you'll be attending the party and choose three additional selections for that day. Just be sure you don't do this before you make your regular park day selections. Then, you'll be able to click on the day you're attending the party and make a few selections.

Enjoy all of the special features of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! I just love strolling Main Street with hot chocolate in hand, settling down to watch the special Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, and snacking on the cookies that are available for party guests. The snowfall on Main Street is so special too! There's just nothing like Christmas at Disney! Have a magical trip, Melissa!
