Mom And Son On Run

I will be attending the Magic Kingdon with my 3 and 7 year old. Can we all wait in line at Space Mountain, but only my 7 year old son rides? Can we watch him get on the ride and the proceed quickly to the end of the ride to pick him up?

    Hi Heather:

I'm with you and your three-year-old. I'm always looking for ways to get out of riding Space Mountain. While I'm always trying to avoid the ride, I'm talked into riding it every time. For some reason, the drops, however mild, always get me. I cannot wait until my boys are seven and can ride Space Mountain by themselves.

The good news is that yes, so long as your son meets the height requirement, you can accompany your son on the Space Mountain queue, exit without riding, and pick up your son at the ride exit. Simply use a so-called "chicken exit" at the end of the Space Mountain queue. Often there are signs directing you to these "chicken" exits, or you can ask a Cast Member at the end of the line where the nearest exit is and they will point you in the right direction where you can meet up with your son.

    Enjoy your vacation.
