Greetings, Laura!
I’m SO excited for your first visit to the Disneyland Resort! I also have three children under the age of 7, so I'm delighted to steer you in the right direction. I checked the Entertainment Schedule for the
day of your visit, and currently, there are two nighttime events in Disneyland Park for your family to enjoy: Mickey’s Soundsational Parade, and Mickey’s Mix Magic. I’d suggest scoping out a spot for the parade about half an hour before the start time.
I recommend
Disney MaxPass for both kids and adults, thanks to its convenience! With MaxPass, you can make FASTPASS selections directly from your mobile device upon entering the parks. MaxPass also includes digital downloads of your Disney PhotoPass photos, which is a huge benefit, especially during your first visit! You can add MaxPass to your online ticket transaction, or through the Disneyland app, upon entering the parks.
You’ll also want to utilize the
Rider Switch service and
Baby Care Centers -- both are so beneficial with little ones! Here are a few of my favorites for your first visit to the Disneyland Resort: A Character breakfast at Plaza Inn, lunch or dinner at Blue Bayou Restaurant, “it’s a small world”, Mickey’s Toontown, riding the Disneyland Railroad and Monorail, meeting the Princesses at Royal Hall, visiting Cars Land and checking out the newly reimagined Pixar Pier.
Wishing you a magical first visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
