    Kathy from HI Asked

I am attending a convention at the Disneyland Hotel in April, in the afternoon I wanted to visit the park but saw that the dates were in the blackout dates. Is there anyway to get twilight tickets on those days?

Hi there, Kathy, and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It’s great to see you hEAR! I can’t think of a better spot to attend a convention than at the Disneyland Hotel

I checked the Admissions & Blockout Calendar for Disneyland Resort Annual Passports, and April 2, 2020 doesn’t appear to be a blockout day for any of the Passports, so I’m not sure which tickets you may be referring to. Unfortunately, the Disneyland Resort doesn’t currently offer twilight tickets. However, I recommend checking out the Offers & Discounts page to see if any of these current promotions may work for you. Otherwise, here’s the list of ticket pricing currently available, too. I recommend checking the Entertainment Schedule again in about one week in order to see the park hours during your visit, so you can figure out if you think it’s worth the cost for the amount of time you’ll have after your convention is over for the day. This calendar is updated six weeks in advance.

If you don’t have quite enough time to enjoy the theme parks, you can also spend time shopping, eating, and hanging out in Downtown Disney District, which is just steps away from the Disneyland Hotel. Shopping at World of Disney is my favorite way to check out the latest Disneyland Resort merchandise… I could shop there for hours! Naples Ristorante e Bar is also one of my family’s favorite spots for lunch or dinner. And for the perfect after-dinner treat, head on over to the CrazyShake Window by Black Tap for their delicious (and oh-so-crazy) milkshakes!

I also highly recommend spending some time at Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar – it’s one of my favorite places to gather with friends and enjoy appetizers and drinks – and you can find it on the property of the Disneyland Hotel! The Piranha Pool is my favorite tropical concoction there!

I hope this information helps, Kathy! Please stop by with any additional questions you may have… I’m all EARs!
