    Maureen Asked

We will be attending Catholic Mass at Queen of the Universe Shrine on Sunday the 11 of Dec for the 7.30am mass. May i know how much cab fare would cost, to reach the church as we have 15 in our family and how many cabs we would need. Thanks

Hi Maureen! The exact cab fare will depend on your starting point since Walt Disney World is a fairly vast property, but in general, taxi fare between Disney and the Mary Queen of the Universe Shrine would likely run $20 plus tip each way. (I like to use the non-Disney website www.taxifarefinder.com to estimate cab fares, and if you insert your exact locations, you can get a more exact estimate there.)

Van taxis are readily available at Walt Disney World, and they generally hold 7 to 9 passengers, so I think your party could use two of those. The fare is the same for the vans as for the smaller cabs. Since your party is so large, you may want to reserve the van taxis in advance. You can do that by contacting the Mears company, which provides taxi service at Walt Disney World. (Their website is www.mearstransporation.com.)
