We want to attend the Mickey Mouse Christmas Party. Do you think if we go at 4:00 we would have time to do all the rides for a 5 and an 8 year old and the special events? Or should buy daytime and party tickets?

    Hi Sherry!

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is such an incredible way to make the most of your time at Magic Kingdom Park and a great way to celebrate the holiday season at the Walt Disney World Resort!

Although you can experience many of your favorite attractions with little to no wait during the party, only select attractions will be available.  Because of this, I do recommend entering the park as early as your party ticket will allow.  That being said, if you want to make sure that you experience all of the rides for the smaller ones in your life, along with all of the magic that occurs during the party, I highly recommend purchasing regular park admission in addition to the party ticket.  Although it might be possible to experience everything during the party, you would likely not have time to really soak up all of the pixie dust and appreciate the magic!  With spectacular shows, fantastic fireworks, unique character experiences, a pixie-dusted parade, and so much more, there will be plenty of magic to fill every moment of your time!

Also, since Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is an evening event, I always recommend sleeping in that morning and having a relaxing day by the pool before heading over to Magic Kingdom Park.  You definitely don't want to tire out before the end of the party!  Because of this, if you choose to purchase separate park admission for Magic Kingdom Park, if possible, I would purchase it for another day of your trip.  That way, you won't be too exhausted from all of your pixie-dusted experiences that morning to enjoy the holiday-themed adventures that evening!

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
