    Karla from FL Asked

Does Art of Animation still have free art classes near the lobby? Are the beaches at the Polynesian open for fireworks viewing? I heard they close one hour before sunset.

Hi, Karla! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you so much for designing a great question for us. We love to help Guests draw up amazing plans for their vacations, so feel free to stop by any time you need some help coloring in all the spaces of your plans.

Disney's Art of Animation Resort does continue to hold the Teach to Draw classes daily in the children's playroom next to the front desk. During each of our visits to this resort, my daughters have participated in the class and have learned to draw some pretty amazing Disney friends. My friend and fellow Panelist, Jason, recently discussed this class with a Guest. Take a look at this discussion, as he also provides a really great alternative that you may consider.

This morning, I spoke with the sweetest Cast Member at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. She informed me that the beach at this resort is currently open to Guests for viewing of Wishes nighttime spectacular. I find this location to be a wonderful spot for enjoying the sights and sounds of this fireworks show when outside of Magic Kingdom Park. Be sure to check the Times Guide at Magic Kingdom Park and in the welcome packet in your Resort hotel room for the Wishes nighttime spectacular schedule, as it does vary in the coming weeks.

Thank you again, Karla, for bringing us your question. I am sending lots of pixie dust your way for a magical vacation!
