We will be arriving at the WDW May 29-June 5th, staying at POP & Celebrating a 15th Bday for our Grandson, any suggestions for a really cool surprise for his age group? Love the panel, any help would be appreciated! Thanks

    Dear Judy,

I work with students the age of your grandson every day and I have noticed that, while they each have their own unique hobbies and interests, teenagers in general love exclusive, behind-the-scenes experiences that reveal to them something about how the world works.  Based on that knowledge, I would suggest any of a variety of exciting tours available at Walt Disney World.  For instance, if your grandson loves animals, consider the Wild By Design Tour in Disney's Animal Kingdom.  This tour reveals great insight about not just the unparalleled environment in which a vast array of exotic animals live.  It also describes how Imagineers brought the Animal Kingdom theme park from concept to reality.  Any chance your grandson is a train aficionado?  If so, he has to experience Disney's The Magic Behind Our Steam Trains TourDolphins in Depth is a tour in Epcot's Living Seas Pavilion that would be another exciting option to consider for the 13 and older crowd.  Any of these tours can be arranged by calling (407) WDW-TOUR.

Of course, if he likes fishing, there's nothing quite like the private catch-and-release fishing expeditions (call 407-WDW-PLAY) or parasailing programs Disney offers on-site.

I hope I've offered at least one opportunity that your grandson would enjoy!  Best of luck as you plan his exciting surprise.
