Hi all, I will be arriving at WDW in just 38 days.My husband & I are thinking of taking a taxi instead of the bus once we land.As long as the yellow tags are on our bags will Disney still take our luggage to our resort?Or do we have to ride w/our bags?

    Hi Mayra!

How exciting that your Walt Disney World vacation is just around the corner!

So long as your luggage is tagged with those magical, bright yellow, Magical Express stickers, Disney will transport your bags directly to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel where they'll be awaiting you later in the day.

Whether you choose to ride the comfortable, air conditioned coaches of the Disney's Magical Express Service or not, your bags have their own mode of transport and are taken to the Walt Disney World Resort separately.

If you've never ridden the Magical Express before, I so highly recommend it to you! On board, you'll be entertained along the 30-40 minute ride, watching videos about all the fun, magical attractions and activities you can expect to partake in during your stay. It's really where the fun of the vacation begins for my family.

If you would rather have your baggage arrive with you, at the same time you check in to your resort hotel, you may prefer not to use the yellow tags and instead claim your bags at the luggage carousel to take to your taxi service with you.

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your question Mayra.
Please feel free to write me back again any time if I may be of further assistance to you.

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World!
