    Jessica from ON Asked

Arriving on Saturday and leaving Saturday the week of feb 2018. We have 5 passes for the parks. What order do you recommended we visit the parks and on what day will we maximize our experience at each park?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jessica! I love your question; a whole week at Walt Disney World Resort means you will get to see and do plenty of magical things. The 4-theme park resort with two waterparks, mini golf and nearly 20 Resort locations can be overwhelming, but I’ll lay out a plan to help you make the most of it.

When I’m planning a vacation, I ‘ll first choose how many days I want to spend at the parks (typically, 1 day for Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Animal Kingdom and  2 days at Magic Kingdom) and choose my ticket package. I see you have 5 days, so next, I would visit the Undercover Tourist Crowd Calendar (google that) and find my trip dates in the calendar. You’ll see which days are best for any given park and which days to avoid one or the other. This will make crowds a bit more maneuverable for you. I never make a trip to Walt Disney World Resort without this handy trip tool. Next up, I’m sure to mark my personal calendar for 60 days ahead of my check-in date. This is the golden time to sign up for FastPass+ Reservations, which let me skip lines and make the most of my park time. This way, I can shop, and dine in between the fun. I also enjoy choosing nighttime spectaculars, like Happily Ever After Fireworks, IllumiNations, and Fantasmic!, which I believe to be a Disney classic.

Make sure you arrive early on your Epcot Day, because I have a feeling that the Epcot International Festival of the Arts may be in full swing, which means extra celebration to be experienced. Wear your walking shoes and bring some sunscreen, because you’re in for a WORLD of fun! ~ Lindsey P.
