We're arriving Sat. morning to visit MK & then will stay night @ Pop Century. Whats quicker? To go straight to park & pick up magic bands at will call or go to hotel first in morning, check in early, get bands there & then ride bus to park

    Hi Alison,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. And now, let's help you with your planning.

When you stay at select Disney Resort hotels, each member of your party will receive a complimentary MagicBand. These things are the best invention since sliced bread. They are your key to your room, your theme park tickets, you PhotoPass card, your FastPass+, even your wallet, since you can use it to pay for almost everything. They are indeed amazing. You can even customize them ahead of time, by selecting from favorite colors and inscribing your name on them. My favorite color? Lightsaber Red.

Now, if you reserved a room-only reservation and purchased theme park tickets ahead of time, you could pick the tickets at the will call window at the entrance of any theme park. However, your MagicBands still need to be picked up at your Resort hotel. A suggestion is that you link your theme park tickets and your Resort hotel reservation, to your My Disney Experience account. Then you could check in nice and early, and go straight to Magic Kingdom by taking the Complimentary Resort Transpiration bus.

Parking is free at the theme parks for Resort hotel guest. First you would need to check in to your Resort hotel, and obtain the corresponding parking pass. Also, at Magic Kingdom, you would have to park at the Transportation and Ticket center. And then you would need to take the monorail or ferry to the entrance of Magic Kingdom.

    Happy planning.
