    Betsy from TN Asked

We are arriving 10/3 at 4:30 we are planing to use ME my ? is how does ME work will we be waiting for other flights to arrive ? waiting for luggage I am wondering from the time we land what to expect we are arriving later and cant wait to get to MK THANKS

Hi, Betsy!   Here is how Magical Express works.   You will receive travel vouchers and yellow luggage tags prior to your departure.   Tag your bags at your home airport, and don't worry about them again - they will magically appear in your room later in the day.  (Remember, any bag fees charged by your airline are NOT included, you will need to pay your airline directly if applicable.)

When you arrive in Orlando, you will go to the Magical Express check-in area (level 1, B Side.)   Have your vouchers ready to show to a cast member, and they will direct you to line to wait in.   A motor coach will then whisk you away to your resort.   Usually, the motor coach will stop at more than one resort to drop off guests.

I used Magical Express last week to go to All-Star Music.   I landed at 9:30 a.m.  By the time I got on the motor coach, we stopped at Sports first, I checked in, went to my room, and then took the bus to the Magic Kingdom it was 12:30 p.m. (a little under 3 hours for this entire journey.)   Now if you are staying at a resort closer to the Magic Kingdom, you might get to the park a bit quicker, but be realistic with travel times.  You might cut 30 - 45 minutes off my time of 3 hours, but probably not much more.

Here is the good news!  I just checked Magic Kingdom's calendar, and on October 3, SpectroMagic is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. and Wishes fireworks at 9:00 p.m.   What a magical night you will have when arriving in WDW!   Have a super vacation!
