I will be arriving in Orlando at 9:30am and will be staying at the Pop Century Resort. How long will it take me to get there from the airport? I also plan to spend the first day I arrive at Epcot. Do you think I will get there by noon?

    Hi Sally!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Disney's Magical Express is a fantastic way to start your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. It's so nice when you don't have to worry about rental cars, directions, traffic or parking during your vacation. Plus, if you take advantage of Disney's Magical Express luggage service, you don't even have to worry about stopping at baggage claim at Orlando International Airport because your checked bags will be magical transported to your Disney Resort hotel room!

When planning a trip using Disney's Magical Express, I always allow three hours between the time that my flight lands and when I am ready to start my first activity at my Disney Resort hotel. Often the trip is quicker than three hours, but I like to leave plenty of time to travel from Orlando International Airport so I'm not rushing at the start of vacation. You definitely don't want to be stressed when you start your trip!

When you travel from Disney's Pop Century Resort to Epcot, you should allow to one hour transportation time. So if you quickly transfer from Disney's Magical Express to the Epcot complimentary resort transportation bus at Disney's Pop Century Resort, then I would expect that you will arrive at Epcot between 1:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. If you will be checking your bags with Bell Services at Disney's Pop Century Resort before heading to Epcot, I would plan for your arrival at Epcot to be closer to 1:30 p.m.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions as you continue planning your vacation! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
