Christmas on Main Street

We are arriving mid December. My daughter desperately wants to meet Moana. I’ve got conflicting advice on the park she can usually be found and since she’s not a fast pass option — I was wondering the best way to find her schedule?

    Aloha, Susan!

Thanks for sailing to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with this great question!

Indeed, the stars have guided Moana to Magic Kingdom Park to celebrate Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. She may be found at Adventureland in front of the Jungle Cruise.

I suggest purchasing party tickets as soon as possible. The holiday party is a very popular event that can sell out very quickly. On party nights, Magic Kingdom Park closes to regular-ticket holders at 7:00 p.m. I suggest arriving late afternoon or early evening. Moana starts meeting the special event party Guests around 5:45 p.m. So, you may want to line up no later than that time as the wait will increase significantly afterward.

One remarkable trait that makes Moana so admirable is her free-spirit. There is no doubt that the sea calls out to her again and again. That's because she's a master wayfinder! Hopefully your daughter can "sea" Moana before she sails off on a new adventure.

Disney Mom Tip: Do keep your eyes on the Disney Parks Blog for any official news about a more permanent Moana meet-and-greet location. One never knows when she might return from across the sea with Hei Hei to stay on land for a while.

Susan, I do have faith that Te Fiti will grant your daughter's wish to meet Moana next month. That's the Power of Magic!
