Hi! Arriving In May for a wk stay, 3 days at WDW. Is it worth it to stay on property for 1 night to access the early FP scheduling, free magic bands, and 1 day of dining plan, perhaps magic hours if offered that day? Staying offsite for remainder

    Dear Kristin,

Thank you so much for stopping by to say "Hiya Pal!" and visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel!

You absolutely can consider staying for one night at an on-site Walt Disney World Resort hotel, as it will come with all of the perks and benefits that come along with that. You will be eligible to receive a MagicBand, can schedule your FastPass+ selections for that day at the 60-day mark, and can also purchase that one night worth of the Disney Dining Plan. You can of course also take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours available that day as well. These benefits of course are only in effect at the time that you are staying on-site, and would not carry through the remainder of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation when you are not staying on-site.

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
