We will be arriving at LAX in the middle of June and staying at the DisneyLand Hotel. Can you recommend a private car service that can transport our family of 5 to the hotel after we land and then back to the airport at the end of our stay?

    Welcome back, Jen!

I lived in Southern California for a few years after college before moving back to the Midwest, so I know all about transportation and the, ahem, "traffic fun", out in that area. If you're not used to driving in Los Angeles traffic and you don't necessarily need a car, booking a private or shared transfer is certainly the way to go for this trip!

First of all, did you know that the Disneyland Resort offers the Disneyland Resort Express from the LAX airport for any guests staying at one of Disneyland's Hotels? There is no need to make an advanced reservation for this service, but there is a small fee. However, this is a shared ride with other guests, so if you're looking for a private car service, I have a few other suggestions.

Both when I lived in L.A. and now that we're back out to visit family and Disneyland often, we have and still use SuperShuttle as one of our favorites. They offer both shared van rides, which are very economical, as well as private sedans, SUV's, and vans. My husband has flown out to visit family on his own and has also used PrimeTime Shuttles, which also offer shared or private options. Another that I've heard of but not utilized myself is booking a private car service through Limos.com. But my personal experience with SuperShuttle has always been positive. Check out their website and see if that might be what you're looking for, Jen.

I hope those give you a few ideas to get you started as you begin to plan the trip logistics, Jen! The Disneyland Hotel is one of my favorites, so I just know your stay there will be an experience to remember!

    Have a magical adventure!
