We are arriving later this week as a Grand Gathering. I was wondering if we check in online if we will get rooms near each other or do we have to check in in person to do that. Can't wait!!

Welcome to the Moms Panel Tracy!  We're glad you're hEAR!

You're trip is super close and I bet you're too excited to sleep already!!!

I called Disney regarding your question.  The helpful Cast Member told me that when you made your reservations as a Grand Gathering, they should have noted that you'll want your rooms near each other.  I'm not sure if you booked your trip directly through Disney or through a travel agent.  I'd call them to confirm that its noted on the reservation.

I love the Online Check-in Service but there are times that I can't find a place to note my specific requests. If you aren't able to find that specific type of request, go ahead and check-in online and then call the resort directly.  I'm not sure where you're staying but I am happy to provide you with that number if you let me know your resort.  Tell them you've already completed online check-in but weren't able to locate an option for your specific request. They will be happy to note your request on your reservation.

Please keep in mind that it is a "request". They will do their best to accommodate your request but can't guarantee it. Be sure to also mention that when you arrive to check in.

If for any reason you can't complete the Online Check-in, no worries - its often a time saver but isn't a requirement.  When I was there in October, the Online Check-in line was longer than the regular check-in line.  That was the first time I've encountered that but it can happen.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
