    Pamela from NY Asked

We are arriving at Disney on Sept. 25 and staying until Oct. 1st. I really want to to do something special with just me and my 13 year old daughter. Just something for Mom and daughter. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Hi Pamela! What a special time you are planning with you and your daughter. Not knowing any of her likes and dislikes, I'm going to suggest a variety of things based on what I've done with my 14 year old daughter, hoping a few will appeal to her.

    - Manicures at a resort spa. We chose the Grand Floridian Resort, and loved every minute of it!
    - Fort Wilderness Archery Experience - we did this last year and she loved it so much she has asked to do it again.
    - Lunch and shopping at Downtown Disney. We love going to Fulton's Crab House for a special lunch, but there are so many great dining spots to choose from.
    - Parasailing or boat rental at the Contemporary marina. There are several other marinas to choose from, but we love that one!
    - Wild Africa Trek in the Animal Kingdom is a guided three-hour tour where you'll get up close with the wild animals and even enjoy a yummy meal.
    - Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party in the Magic Kingdom is a special ticket event and takes place on select evenings. You can both even dress up and go trick or treating!

Hope something on this list appeals to your daughter Pamela. Write back with any other questions!
