Hello, we arriving in Disney the Saturday before thanksgiving and leaving on thanksgiving day. Will we be able to see any of the Christmas decorations?

    Hi Kasandra!

As soon as Halloween ends, Cast Members will begin working their magic to dress up the theme parks for the holidays. One of my favorite videos on the official YouTube channel for Disney Parks is "Time-Lapse Video: Magic Kingdom Park Decorated for the Holidays," which offers a behind-the-magic look at how Magic Kingdom Park transitions from Halloween to Christmas. The remarkable transformation is done virtually overnight by a very talented, and incredibly organized, group of Cast Members.

The first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is on November 8 this year. So, Guests should be able to see many holiday decorations going up throughout the Walt Disney World Resort the first couple weeks of November. By the weekend before Thanksgiving, the theme parks and resort hotels should be shimmering in holiday splendor.

Please let us know if we can help answer any other questions as you continue to plan your visit to Walt Disney World.

    Have a magical day!
