We are arriving in Disney one week after my daughter's bithday , is this too late for celebrating her birthday at disney OR does it have to be her birthDAY?? I am thinking so but it would be so nice for her, she is so excited about this trip!

Walt Disney World is the place where dreams come true. I know. Plenty of my own have become a reality due to time I've spent with family and friends in WDW.

We have celebrated my son's birthday many times in WDW. His birthday is in early January, yet we visit in mid to late January. We still celebrate his special day even though it's not his actual birth date.

So, yes, you absolutely can and must celebrate your daughter's birthday during your Disney vacation. In fact, WDW is asking guests this year "What Will You Celebrate"?

2009 is the year of celebrations at WDW. The only difference with not being there on her actual birthday is that she will be ineligible for the free park admission.

Otherwise, you can order a cake, treat her to a meal with princesses, take her on a fireworks cruise, have your room decorated, order a basket of flowers, take her for a manicure and have her wear a birthday button. So many options to explore!

Enjoy your magical vacation and special birthday celebration!
