Arriving at Disney in July. Coming to celebrate our daughter's 21st birthday and one things she wants to do (and we have reservations already) is to eat at Ohana for the character breakfast. Do you think is too old for this - or feel out of place?

Hello Margaret.  Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

One thing I love about Walt Disney World is it is really for people of all ages!  I've actually taken a few adult only trips in the past few years and while it's different than visiting with children, it is equally as magical. Something I love doing, with or without my family is dining with the characters.  You will absolutely not feel out of place dining at 'Ohana for your daughter's birthday breakfast.  In fact, I'm sure there will be people with older children there, adults only, people who are dining alone and people dining with younger children.  I'm getting excited for you just thinking about it, it's a great way to kick off the birthday celebration!

I hope you all have a wonderful time celebrating your daughter's birthday.  Please wish her a happy one from all of us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
