Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom Holiday

    Farrah from IN Asked

We are arriving on December 23, and apparently the big Christmas celebration ends on the 22nd. Are there other parades and Christmas activities? We are there until the 28th and worried about Christmas Day for our kiddos, ages 5 and 10.

Season’s Greetings, Farrah! There is so much holiday celebration to be had at Walt Disney World Resort! Though Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party may end before the big day begins (Santa has to go pack his sleigh, after all!), there are still many activities for you to celebrate.

The Disney Parks Blog is still compiling the grand list of Christmas activities, so keep your eyes peeled for new announcements from now until then. The Disney Parks Moms Panel is celebrating Christmas in July with some great suggestions just this week. On and after your arrival on 7.23, you can still catch the Candelight Processional until 12.30 (grab the package dinner for great seats), Minnie’s Seasonal Dine at Hollywood & Vine (make lunch or dinner reservations!), Jingle Bell Jingle BAM may still be running, and the Holiday D-Lights tour, sharing all the seasonal magic with guests, may be available. You can call (407) 939-8687 for more tour information.

My favorite FREE activity is to ride the Monorail to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to see the life-size gingerbread house and the SHOP inside it! When you smell the incredible aroma of the cookies baking in the lobby, tour around the house to find all the Hidden Mickey shapes and on your way out, stop at the shop window to take home your very own gingerbread cookies and candles that will help to extend the magic back home.

I hope you have the most merry and magical vacation, and keep watching for more Xmas news. I’ll see ya’ real soon! ~ Lindsey P.
