Hi, we are arriving in August but are not staying in a resort hotel. We have bought our park tickets already but are under the impression we can only book fast passes on arrival to the actual park? Is this correct? Thank you

    Hi Sue!
You'll be more than pleased to know that you can book your FastPass+ reservations 30 days in advance of your holiday stay at the Walt Disney World Resort! How this works is a little complex, so here's what you need to know.

*If you go online at midnight Mickey time (local time at the Walt Disney World Resort), you should be able to start making your reservations once you reach the 30 day mark, provided that all theme parks have closed for the evening. If you have not put your tickets into My Disney Experience, you will want to do that prior to making your FastPass+ selections. I would suggest doing it sooner rather than later so if something doesn't work properly, you have time to speak with a Cast Member for assistance before your FastPass+ window opens.
*If any of the parks are open until after midnight, the FastPass+ system will not allow you to make any selections until the last park has closed, which is sometimes as late as 2 a.m. local time.
*You cannot make reservations for anything beyond 30 days. You have indicated that you are arriving on 14 August; the earliest you could make a FastPass+ selection would be on 15 July. You would have to come back to the website on 16 July to make your selections for 15 August, because that's 30 days in advance of that date. This rule applies to all days of your vacation.

One of the perks to staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel is that you can make FastPass+ selections 60 days in advance for your entire vacation (up to a 10 day stay) on your 60 day mark.

I hope this answers your questions-please come back and visit us again if we can answer any additional questions for you!

    Best Wishes,
    Amy B.
