    Kim Asked

We're arriving at the Airport on Wed May 6th at 10:50 am. We are staying at the Poly. We;'ll have a 6:35 pm flight on Saturday May 9th. We have a three day pass. Is it better to use the 3rd day ticket on Wed or Sat at Animal Kingdom (Wed M. Hrs)?

    Kim:

Three things make me want to recommend visiting Animal Kingdom on Saturday....

    1. When it comes to choosing which parks to go to on which days, I usually recommend to stay away from the parks that offer Early or Late Magic Hours, as this tends to invite larger crowds to that park.
    2. By the time your plane lands, you take Magical Express (which I'm assuming you're using to the Polynesian resort) and get checked-in, you're probably looking at not getting settled in until 2 p.m. not to mention allowing for transfer to Animal Kingdom....Instead, I would opt to enjoy the pool at the resort, with its "erupting" volcano, along with its torch ceremonies later in the evening.  And cap off the night watching the water pageant and Magic Kingdom fireworks from the pier!
    3. You'll need to freshen up if you choose to visit the pool (which I highly recommend) on your departure day, and that's a little difficult once you've checked out.  If you're headed to Animal Kingdom, you can simply store your luggage Saturday morning after check-out with bell service and retrieve it upon returning to the resort to catch Magical Express.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
