Hi! We are arriving at the airport at 10:54am and staying at POR. It is our middle daughter's 7th bday. Do you think we could make a BBB appt. by 1:00? Would love to have lunch with Princesses in the Castle afterwards. Thanks for your insight!

Unfortunately, I don't think it would be possible to arrive at the Orlando airport, check-in at Port Orleans, and get to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in two hours. Depending on what method of transportation you take, I think you might barely make it to Port Orleans in two hours.

The Orlando airport is about a half an hour drive away from WDW. Even the times that I've landed exactly on time and only had carry-on luggage, it takes at least 15 minutes to get out of the airport -- the gates are often a decent walk and a mini-train ride away from the ground transportation area. If you're going to be waiting for checked luggage, or renting a car, or taking Magical Express, you can expect to add anywhere from another 15 minutes to another 45 minutes just to get out of the airport. Once you get to Port Orleans, it will take 10 minutes to check in, even if there's no line. Your room could easily be a 5-7 minute walk away from the registration desk. Then there's the transportation to the Magic Kingdom, the MK security and entrance turnstiles .... I could go on and on, but you get the general idea.

As a personal rule of thumb, I don't usually plan things in the theme parks until at least three hours after my flight lands. With travel these days, there are just too many variables that can get in the way. If I were you, I'd schedule the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for a few hours later and perhaps try to have dinner in the castle. Or another alternative would be to just call the entire week your daughter's birthday. Plan a fun dinner at someplace like Chef Mickey's on the night of your arrival and work in the princess activities later in your stay.
