Hi we arrive in 5 weeks, sadly I broke my foot this week & may need surgery. Will be able to ride the rides in the parks if my foot is in a cast? I'm concerned with walking & queuing

    Hi Nikki,

I'm sorry to hear that you injured your foot. You can still enjoy a Disney vacation while on crutches or in a wheelchair, it will just be a bit different than you planned. Last November, my son had just gotten out of surgery and was in a knee brace and wheelchair. He was able to ride many of the attractions, but we avoided the water rides for obvious reasons. I recommend stopping by the Guest Relations counter upon your arrival at each park. You can ask them for information about which rides have a "alternate entrance" for guests with mobility challenges. This will make things easier for you.

Wishing you a wonderful vacation and a quick recovery,
