Arrive 9/19 @ 2:45.Plan on chilling at resort & then have reservation at CM @ 8:10p.m. MK has both fireworks shows that night one at 8 other at 9. I was wondering if you can view either from contemporary or if we will have time to hop on monorail?

    Hi Jamie,

Chef Mickey's is a great way to start your trip and yes you are able to view the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the Contemporary Resort where the restaurant is located.

There is only one fireworks show at the Magic Kingdom and that is called Wishes which is at 9pm, SpectroMagic which is at 8pm is a parade through the park. To view Wishes from the Contemporary you will need to find a spot outside near the lagoon where you have a view of the Castle. To be honest though as your dining reservation is at 8.10pm I doubt if you'll make it in time as the average meal at Chef Mickey's takes over an hour. As it is a buffet you could eat quickly but then you may miss some of the characters and you wouldn't enjoy your meal as much. What I suggest you do is either try and get an earlier dining time or you plan to watch Wishes another night.

    Have a great trip,
