We arrive MCO at 10:20am, do you think we can make it to Tony’s in MK by 1:30? We are staying at The Poly. We would need to check-in 1st to activate our tickets on magic bands I believe. Greatly appreciate any suggestions!

Hello Amy, and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am excited to hear that you are already planning a full day of magic as soon as you arrive at the Walt Disney World Resort. I would assume that you will use Disney’s Magical Express service. Once you land you will be able to skip baggage claim and the car rental counter and proceed directly to the Magical Express Welcome Center. You will be whisked away by motorcoach to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.

You can save time at the front desk too by using Online Resort Check-In, up to 30 days prior to your arrival, or in the My Disney Experience Mobile App. You will receive a notification that will tell you when your room is ready. This will allow you to skip the front desk check-in process and head on over to the Magic Kingdom. If you have any carry on items that you do not want to take into the park with you, the Bell Services team can assist you in holding those items until you return to your room.

Once your tickets are linked to your My Disney Experience accounts, you will not need to check-in to activate them. They will be linked to your MagicBands and ready to go. The Magic Kingdom is just a 2 monorail stops away and you should make it to Tony’s Town Square Restaurant in plenty of time. It sounds like day one of your magical vacation is off to a fabulous start. If you need any more advice before you arrive, please come back and visit us again.

    See ya real soon,
    Andrea
