We arrive with our kids for their first trip and don't go to the parks till the next day. We have a reservation for Chef Mickey that night though and wonder what is the best way to get there from pop century resort or downtown disney? Thank you

    Hi Jennifer!

I love your plan ... relax and take in a character dining experience to kick off your vacation. You can utilize Disney's complimentary transportation from either location. From Disney's Pop Century, take a bus to Magic Kingdom. From the front of Magic Kingdom, you can either walk or hop on the monorail to Disney's Contemporary Resort. From Downtown Disney, you'll find a bus that brings you to Disney's Contemporary Resort.

In our experience, the buses from Downtown Disney can sometimes take awhile. I would advise hailing a cab from DD to ensure you're on time to dine with Mickey! A cab will cost you around $15-$20, but will cut down on travel time.

Any other questions, Jennifer? I'm happy to help.

Best wishes for a magical vacation.
