We will arrive @ airport on 9/17 around noon; 1st trip to WDW; have a 2y/old & 3 y/old daughter. We have ADR at Boma'a @ 5:00; staying @ Polynesian. What should we do between arrival @ resort and dinner? Should we go to MK or AK or just explore resort

    Leslie:

Here's a shout out to my fellow Mississippian!

I'm assuming that you'll be taking Magical Express from the airport to your resort.....with that said, you probably won't be checked-in and settled in your rooms until 2:00 or so....

Because you should give yourself a good 45 minutes to get to Boma (via a nice 5- to 10-minute walk over to the Ticket and Transportation depending on what building you are at in the resort), I think you have the right idea to spend the two hours in the middle exploring all that the Polynesian has to offer!

Whether you decide to check out the erupting Volcano poolside or the Marina and its surrey bike rentals, I think you'd get more out of this Deluxe resort by taking the time to see why it's one of the most popular resorts for families.   If you can swing it, you might want to see if you can move your dinner time, as the Polynesian holds a short torch-lighting ceremony around 6 p.m. with a fire-dancer and a drummer!  Don't miss it while you're there!

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
