Arrival date is 11/14/14 (AKL). I'm very much a planner. How should I be using My Disney Expericence now and through out our next 169 days (but who's counting)? What day can we begin securing Fast Passes for rides? Thank you-you guys/girls are awesome!

    Hey Donna!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Mom Panel! Thank you for bringing us your questions.

We must be kindred spirits! I am an obsessive planner as well. I am current planning two Walt Disney World vacations. Between the mobile app and the online program, I probably use My Disney Experience a couple times per day. I am always looking for the perfect line up of FastPass+ selections and Advanced Dining Reservations (ADR). Since Guests frequently change their plans you never know when that perfect FastPass+ selection or ADR will pop up. I also use their itinerary planner to add shows and parades where I didn't make a FastPass+ selection.

If you are staying at a Walt Disney World resort you will be able to start making your FastPass+ selections 60 days in advance. If you are not staying on property you can begin making your selections 30 days in advance.

Since you are at 169 days, I would imagine you have made all your ADRs. If you weren't able to get the times or locations you wanted I suggest logging in to your My Disney Experience account daily (or several times a day like me) and see what's available.

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have any other questions please come back and see me.

Wishing you a magical vacation and a pixie-dusted day!
