    Mary ann from OH Asked

When should I arrange my transfer from Port Orleans to Port Canaveral for my cruise?

    Hi, Mary Ann!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You are in for an unforgettable vacation filled with magic and pixie dust on both land AND the high seas. I know you can't wait to experience all the Walt Disney World Resort has to offer along with Disney Cruise Line in February.

One of the conveniences of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel pre-cruise is the motorcoach transportation that can be added on to your cruise reservation. You'll want to purchase your transfers from Disney's Port Orleans- Riverside to Port Canaveral up to three days prior to your cruise departure. This can be done by calling Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532. The night before your cruise a letter with a specific pick up time and instructions will be left in your room. Luggage pick-up will be at 8:00 a.m. so you'll want to have your bags ready to go and tagged with the labels you'll receive in the mail a few weeks before your vacation. You'll also want to pack a day bag with any items you may need before your luggage arrives outside your stateroom door. I always pack my passport, medications, jewelry, swimsuit, and sunscreen for the first afternoon.

Mary Ann, February will be hEAR before you know it, and you'll be escaping the frigid temperatures to enjoy a land and sea vacation with Mickey! As you continue to plan for your magical adventure, please let us know if we can help.
