    Ginger from CO Asked

Hi! I will be around 4 months pregnant if we plan the trip at the end of Sept. Curious if and what rides would have restrictions for pregnant women? Trying to decide whether to go now or wait.

Hi, Ginger! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I love it when my Colorado neighbors are planning trips to the Happiest Place on Earth!

The Disneyland Resort takes safety very seriously, so they have made it really easy for expectant mothers to find which attractions they should avoid. First, head to the attractions page of the Disneyland Resort website. Under the "Accessibility & Advisories" filter, select "Expectant Mothers Advisory." This will then filter the list of attractions to show you which ones you shouldn't ride while pregnant. I think you'll be delighted to know that the list isn't that long and that there are plenty of other attractions without restrictions for expectant mothers. You can still enjoy many classic attractions like Pirates of the Caribbean, "it's a small world," Haunted Mansion Holiday, Jungle Cruise, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, and many, many more. Of course, since everyone and every pregnancy is different, it's best to consult with your doctor before your visit.

Keep in mind that there are also lots of entertainment options that would be suitable for you like Frozen - Live at the Hyperion and Mickey and the Magical Map. Not to mention so many characters to meet in both parks, plus all the Halloween Time decor and fun to enjoy at the end of September. There is really so much to do and see that you won't mind sitting out for an attraction or two.

Congratulations on your growing family and I hope you have a magical visit to the Disneyland Resort!
