Hi Armada. We are driving to WDW in June and was wondering how we can entertain the kids during our 21 hour drive and get them excited for our Disney Adventure?? Thanks!!

    Howdy Jessica!

First of all, thank you so much for your question!

You don't mention how old your kids are, but I know that DVDs help entertain my kids for a good long while in the car.  I'd stock up on some Disney classics as well as some of their old favorites.  I'd also take along the Walt Disney World Vacation Planning DVD as well.  It is one of our FAVORITE movies, and it'll be fun to watch on the way home to help remind them of their trip.

Make sure you pack protein-filled, low sugar snacks for the kids and water.  The only thing worse that being in a car 21 hours is being in the car for 21 hours with sugared up kids!

You can also stop by The Disney Store and pick up some cute little toys, flip flops, sunglasses for the kids to hand out along the way.  Maybe every time you stop for gas they get something?  Magna Doodles are also great fun, and I've seen some Disney ones as well.  Books are great to bring along too!

Also plan some exercise or play time into your driving schedule.  Take a ball or some beanbags to play a quick game while stopped for lunch or dinner.  Try to find places that you can find grab and go food or pack an ice chest for a picnic lunch and stop at state parks along the way.  It'll be a great break from sitting in the car!

    Have a magical vacation!
