If aren't buying tickets for a park and are camping at Fort Wilderness in Dec. Will we be able to see any fireworks? We plan to go to Downtown Disney and ride the monorail, etc to the hotels to see their decorations. Any suggestions?

    Hi Rhonda,

A great place to view the Wishes fireworks is from the beach at the Polynesian Resort.

Be sure to watch the Electrical Water Pageant as well. It passes by the Polynesian Resort at approximately 9:00 pm. The Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is next at approximately 9:15 pm and then the Wilderness Lodge is at about 9:35 pm. It makes it's way to the The Fort Wilderness Campground at approximately 9:50 pm and the Contemporary Resort at around 10:10 pm. Finally the Electrical Water Pageant displays in front of the Magic Kingdom briefly.

You should plan a day of "Resort Hopping" to check out the many spectacular Disney resorts. Be sure to spend some time admiring the incredible gingerbread house in the Grand Floridian and the gingerbread tree in the Contemporary. You can also take the ferry over to the Wilderness Lodge which is especially pretty in December. You may also want to take a bus ride over to the Yacht & Beach Club. They have a beautiful chocolate carousel that is incredible. For the Animal Kingdom Lodge, hop on a bus bound for there from any of the parks. This resort in particular is absolutely breathtaking.

Hope this helps and that you have a wonderful vacation,

    Kaylene
