Apr 11 we are returning to WDW & staying @ Pop. It's our first time with Mag Bands. Our deadline to customize is Mar 10. We do not receive our tickets purchased thru Undercover Tourist until Mar 23. Can we still link online to our bands and pick FastPa

    Hi Rhonda,

Welcome home!  How exciting for your Walt Disney World vacation to be just around the corner.  You are going to love how MyMagic+ has improved your Disney vacation experience.  You should customize your MagicBands before your deadline even if you haven't linked theme park tickets or made FastPass+ selections.  The information about your theme park tickets and FastPass+ selections is not contained inside your MagicBands.  Instead your MagicBands connect you to a Disney database which identifies you and the information that you have linked in My Disney Experience such as your FastPass+ selections, theme park tickets, Disney Dining Plan, etc.... Therefore you can edit the information in My Disney Experience at any time even after you have received your MagicBands.  One of my favorite features is having the ability to use my mobile device while in a theme park to modify my FastPass+ experiences should my plans change.

Unfortunately you cannot make FastPass+ selections until you have linked your theme park tickets in My Disney Experience.  However you can and should go ahead and customize your MagicBands before your deadline.  When your tickets arrive you may link them in My Disney Experience and make your FastPass+ selections then.

I hope this information helps you with your vacation planning!  Please let us know if you have any further questions, we are always happy to help.
