We have a 7:45am appointment with Disney Fine Art Photography at Epcot and are staying at the Ft. Wilderness cabins. Should we depend on the buses or take a cab? If cab - will there be any available that early or should we make a reservation? Thanks!

Hi Lynda! You have a very important date set up for your upcoming trip! You certainly will not want to be late and miss this Fine Art Photography appointment in Epcot so let me give you some tips about the Fort Wilderness transportation.

I strongly suggest you use a taxi that morning and it wouldn't make any difference if you stayed in any other resort. Early morning buses are there but when it is something as important as this you just need to take control and use a taxi.

You will need to get to the front of the resort where the check-in building is located as that is where the taxis are allowed to pick up guests. They will pull up along the walkway where the Magical Express buses park. It can take anywhere from 5-15 minutes depending on how busy it is and the weather. I usually wait until I reach the front of the resort to call or at least when I am out the door and on the way. You will give the dispatcher your name and the number of people needing the transportation so they know what kind of vehicle to send. Disney authorizes Yellow Cab on property and their number is 407-422-2222. We use them all the time during our Fort Wilderness stays and have always had great luck with their dependability.

Ahead of time please call Disney Fine Art Photography to see where they will want you to meet. If it is at the front of the park then ask the taxi to drop you off at the main entrance to Epcot. However, if you will be using the World Showcase for your photo shots then it is likely they will want to meet at the International Gateway to the park.  If that is the case then you need to ask to be dropped off at the Beach Club resort and take the five minute walk to that entrance.

This will be such a great treat to have a professional photo of your family done in a very magical location!
