We are APH and have visited all the parks multiple times in the past 2 years, but this trip will be my first with just me and 2 kids (4 and 5). How can I find out which rides are 3 seaters so we dont waste time waiting in line for 2 seater rides?

    Hi Whitney,

I completely understand your situation. I have a family of five. When the kids were younger it often worked out that one adult was with two of the kids. We paid special attention to rides that would accommodate this situation.

I'm going to point you to an article on the independent website blog.touringplans.com called "Avoiding the Odd Man Out at Walt Disney World." (Google it.) This gives a full run-down on the ride seating situation at Walt Disney World, listing all the attractions that pose issues for groups of three. You main area of concern will be the shooting rides Buzz Lightyear and Toy Story Mania. If your kids are on the small side, you could probably all squeeze into one ride vehicle and the kids could each get a laser, with you cheering them on. The Toy Story seating is a bit tighter. It may be a challenge to squeeze into one car. A solution would be to have the kids in one vehicle with you immediately behind, but you'll have to use your judgement about your kids' comfort level with this situation.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
