Hi, we are AP holders and were wondering about the special ticketed after hours events, which like extra magic hours, but you pay for them. Are AP holders allowed in the parks during those extra hours?

Hi, Barb! This is a really great question, so I am glad you stopped by to chat with us. Disney After Hours events are a magical way to experience the parks. These events offer evenings full of pixie-dusted moments for those that attend. Admission is limited, so it always seems that everyone practically has the park to themselves! This makes for lots of fun on our favorite attractions! Currently, there are Disney After Hours events held in Magic Kingdom Park, Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and a newly announced, wickedly delightful Disney Villains After Hours one this summer in Magic Kingdom Park.

As I mentioned, this is a limited admission event. To enter the park or to remain in the park once the Disney After Hours event starts, you will need to purchase a separate ticket. While admission to these events is not included for Annual Passholders, there is a great discount offered to members. At this time, Annual Passholders can receive a $30 discount on each ticket they purchase. The ticket prices vary according to each event and are subject to change at any time, so be sure to check the appropriate page for the Disney After Hours event you would like to attend. Ticketed guests can enter the park at 7:00 p.m. on event nights; however, the festivities do not usually begin until between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., depending on the location.

Barb, in case the thoughts of some lower waits at your favorite attractions does not make you smile, let me give you an even more pixie-dusted thought - complimentary Mickey's Premium Ice Cream Bars. That's right! You read that correctly! Disney After Hours guests can receive throughout the evening all the ice cream novelties, popcorn, and select bottled beverages they would like. I'll give you one guess where I will be found during the next event we attend!
